PGI is a great solution where a budget may be stretched but managers appreciate that quality data will be gained from a more advanced system.
With no training required for the auditors and comprehensive dashboards and analysis, our PGI system is already in place and used by TOCs and complies to DfT standards.

User friendly mobile app is a core component of the system and with a zero learning curve.
Audits can be undertaken and uploaded in stages to break down the auditing task. Auditors see a progress bar on the mobile app, which displays the progress of the audits they have uploaded so far.
Period frequencies are preset and due dates display on the mobile app to help auditors plan their workload.
Advanced features such as omitting sections or questions can switch off irrelevant criteria during auditing and it will not be asked again.
Bespoke reports for PGI periods provide quality data. PGI Status Report displays an overview of what PGIs have been completed.

Users can instantly see when a PGI is due, if it’s been started and what the progress is.
When an auditor completes their shift, after upload the progress is automatically updated.
Sections and questions can be omitted if not applicable for that area, creating greater flexibility than an auditing system.

The audit app has been developed to align with the ORRs Rail Maturity Model (RM3) and is an integral part of conducting our internal SMS audits. The audit app was further developed to allow Fire Risk Assessments to be undertaken in house.
We also use a further app which was specifically created to enable us to undertake our Planned General Inspections and stations, depots, and offices, this allows local managers to complete the inspection on the go at a time that suits them.
